Welcome to the Bermuda Conference of Seventh-day Adventists! There are eleven local Seventh-day Adventist congregations spread throughout the islands of Bermuda. We encourage you to visit a nearby congregation for worship any Sabbath. Residents and visitors alike are always welcomed.
For those who really don't know, Bermuda is a British overseas territory in the North Atlantic Ocean. Located off the east coast of the United States, it is situated around 1770 km (1,100 mi) northeast of Miami, Florida and 1350 km (840 mi) south of Halifax, Nova Scotia. The nearest landmass is Cape Hatteras, North Carolina, about 1030 km (640 mi) west-northwest. It is the oldest and most populous remaining British overseas territory.
Bermuda has a thriving economy, with a large financial sector and tourism industry giving it the world's highest GDP per capita in 2005. It has a sub-tropical climate, pink beaches, and cerulean blue oceans. This group of islands is home to over 65,000 people mainly employed in International business and tourism. Hamilton is the capital city and St. George's (the original capital) is a World Heritage Site. The international Airport is located at the eastern end of the island on part of St. David's island. Major hotels are mainly on the south coast between Southampton and Warwick. You have to come and visit us!

Welcome to the Bermuda Conference of Seventh-day Adventists Media Ministries section of the Web site. The Seventh-day Adventist Church offers 24-hour television programming on cable Channel 80. The local and international programs provide news, television, radio, and the Internet to spread the good news and hope that comes from knowing Christ through sermons, marital tips, financial insights, mission highlights, Christian education information and more. Adventist Television formally became a reality on Tuesday, March 29, 2005, at 10:00 a.m. with the official launch at the Hamilton Seventh-day Adventist Church on King Street in Hamilton, Bermuda. Among the dignitaries on hand to witness and give congratulatory remarks were the Mayor of Hamilton, the Rt. Wor. Lawson E. Mapp; The Honorable Dennis Lister, MP representing the ministry of Telecommunications ; The Honorable Grant Gibbons, MP leader of the Opposition; Jeremy Elmas, CableVision general manager; Dr. Donald King, president of the Atlantic Union Conference; Dr. Carlyle Simmons, secretary of the Atlantic Union Conference; Dr. Jeffrey Brown, president of Bermuda Conference, and Sheila Holder, communication director for the Bermuda Conference. With the objective of "Transforming Lives: One Step at a Time," the Bermuda Conference Communication Department and the Bermuda Conference are aiming to reach each community member with messages and programming of hope and to introduce all to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Thousands already enjoy the weekly radio program "Adventists in Focus" and it is anticipated that many will also come to appreciate this new exciting ministry.
